CDC’s DNPAO focuses on approaches that make it easier for more people to change obesity-related behaviors through healthier food, and an environment that promotes healthy eating and active living. Partnerships with state, local, territorial and tribal health departments and coordination with other federal agencies help disseminate consistent public health recommendations and promising practices.
