What is CDC TRAIN?

CDC TRAIN is an external learning management system — a learning resource for public health professionals and an affiliate of the Public Health Foundation TrainingFinder Real-time Affiliate Integrated Network (TRAIN).

How do I get there?

Please go to the CDC Learning Connection page at www.cdc.gov/learning for information, including the link to access CDC TRAIN.

How do I register to be a learner on CDC TRAIN?

Go to http://cdc.train.org, select the Create an Account button on the left side of the page, and follow the directions.  CDC TRAIN accounts are free of charge. Please refer to the HELP tab on CDC TRAIN for more information.

What if I already have a TRAIN account?

Great! You can add CDC as a group to your existing TRAIN account:

• Log in
• Go to My Account,
• Select the Groups tab
• Click the Edit button 
• Complete the Group selection process
• Select ‘Yes’ when asked it you would like to add CDC to your groups  
• Select the Save and Back button

Adding CDC to your groups will not change your TRAIN affiliation, but will grant you access to CDC TRAIN posted content, such as CDC Announcements, Resources, and Discussion Boards.

What if I forget my password to CDC TRAIN?

Go to http://cdc.train.org, enter your login name, and select the Forgot Password link immediately below.  You will be prompted to answer your secret question, and then your password will be displayed.  Please refer to the HELP tab in CDC TRAIN for more information.

If I need technical assistance for CDC TRAIN, who do I call?
