Tuberculosis Screening and Treatment Technical Instructions (TB TIs) using Cultures and Directly Observed Therapy (DOT) for Panel Physicians
CDC has updated the 2007 TB TI document. Panel physicians screening according to the TB TIs using Cultures and DOT should now screen according to this updated document, beginning October 1, 2009.

Tuberculosis Medical Consultation Service for Panel Physicians
The Regional Training and Medical Consultation Centers (RTMCCs), in partnership with IRMH’s Quality Assessment Program and supported by CDC's Division of Tuberculosis Elimination (DTBE), are now providing an online Medical Consultation Service for U.S. Panel Physicians who are currently using the Culture and DOT Technical Instructions for Tuberculosis Screening and Treatment. This service is intended to be used by panel physicians who need expert consultations on unique or difficult clinical situations encountered while treating applicants for US immigration who have tuberculosis disease. To request a consultation, please complete and submit the online Consultation Request Form:
IMPORTANT NOTE – This service is exclusive to United States Panel Physicians and their direct staff. If you are not a panel physician and have a TB-related question, please send your inquiry to cdcinfo@cdc.gov.
