Young volunteers help band ducks at Tennessee National Wildlife Refuge.

Do you enjoy sharing your knowledge of birds or wildflowers or butterflies? What about collecting information about the plants and wildlife in your own backyard or on a refuge?

There are countless ways to support wildlife and their habitat on National Wildlife Refuges, from volunteering to joining a Friends group to participating in a citizen science project or purchasing a Federal Duck Stamp. Ninety-eight cents out of every dollar generated by the sale of Federal Duck Stamps goes directly to purchase or lease wetland habitat in the National Wildlife Refuge System.
