ACA Style!

The ACA polo shirts are now available!

After a successful unveiling at the SAA Convention in San Diego, you too can now order your own ACA polo shirt.

Shirts (see photo below) are available in Small, Medium, Large, X-Large, and XX-Large.  Please note that they are 100% cotton and may shrink some.

The cost is $23.00 ($20.00 + $3.00 shipping and handling) and shirts can be purchased by clicking HERE.  This order form allows you to pay by credit card, PayPal or check; although credit cards are processed through PayPal, you do NOT need to be a PayPal member to use this process.

2012 Business Meeting

Make plans to attend the ACA Annual Business meeting on Thursday, August 9 at the San Diego Bayfront Hilton Hotel beginning at 11:45 a.m. and ending at 1:15 p.m. The cost of the luncheon is $30.00. To register, indicate your intention to attend on the SAA Annual Meeting registration form. Pay Your Dues Online!

You can now pay your annual dues online at https://certifiedarchivists.wufoo.com/forms/aca-annual-dues-renewal/! You will need the invoice number from your printed invoice. Also, please update any outdated or incorrect contact information, and check to make sure ACA has your correct, current email address. (Although payments are processed through PayPal, you do not have to have a PayPal account; you may enter a credit card number.)

 

2012-2013 Officers

The Academy of Certified Archivists is pleased to announce its newly-elected officers for 2012-2013.

Margery Sly, Director of Special Collections at Temple University, has been elected ACA Vice President/President-Elect.  Todd Welch, Digital Access Librarian at Northern Arizona University, will serve a two-year term as Treasurer.  Joining them on the Academy’s Board of Regents will be Tomaro Taylor, Archivist at the Louis de la Parte Florida Mental Health Institute Research Library at the University of South Florida, who will serve as Regent for Exam Development, and Courtney Chartier, Assistant Head of the Archives Research Center at Robert W. Woodruff  (Atlanta University Center), who was selected Regent for Outreach.  Helen Wong Smith, Pacific Island Network Archivist at Hawaii Volcanoes National Park, was chosen to serve on the Nominating Committee. The regents and Wong Smith will also serve two-year terms.
