OFTERSHEIM, Germany – First-day results Thursday in the two-day 2012 DODDS-Europe golf championships being played on the Heidelberg Golf Club layout, which measures 5,939 yards for the boys and 5,181 yards for the girls. Par is 36-36—72. Scoring is a modified Stableford system which awards one point for double-bogey, two for bogey, three for par, four for birdie and six for eagle or ace. Team scoring is combined Stableford points for at least two players and no more than four.
