Community Outreach Initiative
The U.S. Coast Guard Band presents a new program, the Community Outreach Initiative. Small groups from the Coast Guard Band perform educational programs for area students. In 2012 the programs will focus solely on elementary schools.
Programming
This year we are excited to offer morning assembly programs by the following ensembles:
Brass Quintet: “Moody Musicians”
Woodwind Quintet: “Music and Story”
Clarinet Quartet: “Clarinet Cruise”
Tuba-Euphonium Quartet: “Teamwork makes it work!”

Scheduling/Teacher Info
The 2012 Community Outreach Initiative will take place on the mornings of February 21, 22, 24, 27, and 28. If you wish for your school to participate in this program, call, fax, e-mail or send the appropriate information on this form between December 5 and January 15, 2012. Programs will be scheduled on a “first come, first served” basis. Please have alternate program and date choices should your first selection no longer be available. There is no charge to your school for participation.
