University of Idaho students win national fuel cycle awards
Two University of Idaho students won awards in the U.S. Department of Energy’s recent 2012 Innovations in Fuel Cycle Research Awards competition.
Robert Hoover, a Ph.D. student in Chemical Engineering, won first place in the open competition in the chemical separations category and Joshua Daw, a Ph.D. student in Mechanical Engineering, placed second in the open competition in the nuclear fuels category. Both students are based at CAES.
