The United States Military Academy’s women’s basketball team played against American University on February 23, 2013. The West Point Band was proud to be there to perform the National Anthem and Halftime Show. Go Army!- The Highlands Brass Quintet performed at the HVFCU Black History Month Breakfast featuring Air Force Lt. Col. Herman Alex Cole III. Lt. Col. Cole served as one of the Air Force’s Presidential pilot crew force at the 89th Airlift Wing. Interestingly, his great-uncle was one of the Tuskegee Airmen.
