Staff Sergeant Scott Beaver joined the West Point Band in May of 2005.  Prior to joining the band, Scott was a member of the New Mexico Brass Quintet.  He holds an undergraduate degree from Tennessee Tech University, where he studied with R. Winston Morris, and is currently finishing his Master's degree at the University of New Mexico where he studies with Karl Hinterbichler.  He is a recent winner of the University of New Mexico Concerto Competition, the Arapahoe Symphony Orchestra Concerto Competition, as well as the top wind player in the Kingsville Concerto Competition.

Staff Sergeant Nicholas Caluori, a native of Springfield, Virginia, joined the West Point Band in 2006.  He began musical studies with his father and subsequently won a youth fellowship with the National Symphony Orchestra.  He earned a Bachelor of Music in Horn Performance from Florida State University as a student of William Capps, and a Master of Music in Horn Performance from Southern Methodist University as a student of Gregory Hustis.  His principal teachers have also included Sylvia Alimena, Kevin Reid, and Edwin C. Thayer.

Staff Sergeant Caluori spent summers with the National Repertory Orchestra and National Orchestral Institute and performed with the Dallas, Jacksonville, and Tallahassee Symphony Orchestras.  He is active in many regional and international workshops and is Principal Horn of the Hudson Valley Philharmonic.

Staff Sgt. Andrew Garcia joined the West Point Band as principal trumpet in December 2010.  He received his Bachelor of Music and Master of Music in trumpet performance from the Manhattan School of Music, where he studied with Thomas Smith and Mark Gould.  While a student at the Manhattan School, Staff Sgt. Garcia traveled extensively throughout the world, playing in over a dozen countries, in many differing capacities, to include serving as the principal trumpet of the Nice Festival Orchestra in Nice, France, and as a featured soloist in the Royal Albert Hall in London.  He has also played in various ensembles in the New York area to include the New York City Ballet, the New York Staff Band of the Salvation Army, and the New York Philharmonic.

In addition to performing, Staff Sgt. Garcia is also an avid educator.  He has taught around the globe in such countries as Bolivia, Chile, India, Oman, and many others.  In 2005, he founded the Manhattan Citadel Music School in Harlem, which provides a free, comprehensive musical education to twenty-five children from around the community.  The music school, and the children therein has received numerous awards in musical excellence throughout the New York area, has been featured in the New York Times, and its students have gone on to matriculate into several performing arts schools for further musical study.

Staff Sergeant Philip Stehly joined the West Point Band in the summer of 2005.  A native of Kansas City, he received a Bachelor of Music in trombone performance from Indiana University.  While at Indiana, he was the principal trombonist of the Wind Ensemble under the direction of Ray Cramer. Staff Sgt. Stehly has also performed with the IU New Music Ensemble, IU Symphony Orchestras and the Bloomington Camerata.  His principal teachers are Roger Oyster of the Kansas City Symphony, and Dee Stewart and Peter Ellefson of Indiana University.

Sergeant First Class Bryan Uhl is from Danbury, Iowa and joined the West Point Band in November of 1997.  Originally a member of the field music group, he was lead trumpet player in the Jazz Knights and now plays in the Concert Band.  He holds a Bachelor of Arts from Iowa State University and a Master of Music from the University of North Texas.  He plays regularly with the Westchester Broadway Theater Orchestra in Elmsford, New York and maintains an active freelance schedule throughout the Hudson Valley.
