  • Schock Host Montford Point Marine Medal Ceremony

    Aaron was in Jacksonville on Saturday, October 13th, to host the medal ceremony for Montford Point Marine Richard Johnson.In June 2012, approximately 300 Montford Point Marines attended a ceremony in Washington where they were collectively awarded the Congressional Gold Medal. However, Johnson was unable to attend the ceremony in June.
  • Schock encourages students to become lifelong learners

    The path to a lifelong learner begins at a young age. On Sunday, October 14, Congressman Schock shared that message again as he continues to encourage students to become lifelong learners with his Summer Reading Program. Participating students in kindergarten through eighth grades read more than 4,500 books combined. There were 80 participating schools and nine libraries throughout the 18th Congressional District
  • Schock Attends Wagonsellar Road Improvement Project Ribbon Cutting Ceremony

    Aaron was in Pekin, on October 3rd to attend the ribbon cutting ceremony for the Wagonsellar Road Improvement Project. Last week, Aaron announced that Tazewell County & the Cincinnati Township were the recipients of an Economic Development Administration grant in the amount of $503,947.00 for critical roadway improvements.
