Version 1.1 of the Nuclear Regulatory Commission’s (NRC) Open Government Plan improves upon on the already strong first version released on April 7, 2010. Especially notable is the additional publication of events and meetings online by Commissioner William Magwood.  We hope the other Commissioners and top officials will join Commissioner Magwood and Chairman Gregory Jaczko in this practice.

The NRC can continue to build on the groundwork that it has established by adding additional details for how the NRC will revise its current practices to increase collaboration to the plan.
