Gridders with Euro ties sought for all-star team

Ansbach football coach Marcus George has emailed that former NFL players representing the Football University will be in Europe from Saturday-Wednesday to evaluate players aged 19 and younger with dual citizenship or European passports for inclusion on the Europe All-Star team which will take part in FBU’s International Games in San Antonio, Texas, in January.

The FBU team, part of the organization’s Top Gun program,  is scheduled to visit Hanau on Saturday, Ansbach on Sunday, and close out with stops in Spikinessee, Netherlands; Brussels, and Bristol, England, the following Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, respectively.

Also planned for the combines are a coaches’ clinic and a tackling clinic conducted by former NFL coach Thurmond Moore. The clinics are open to all ages and nationalities.

Fee for attending the combine and clinic is $40 at Ansbach and 35 Euros at Brussels.
