Did the human race really come from a monkey?      Phyllis Frosst, Ph.D.: I currently investigate genetic discrimination, direct to consumer marketing of genetic tests and pharmacogenomics. Technically, we didn't evolve from monkeys, but we do share a common ancestor. Analysis of the genomes of primates shows a pattern of changes that can only be explained by the accumulation of gradual changes over very long periods of time (evolution).
