FSIS collects scientific information and generates reports in
support of the Agency's farm-to-table strategies.

|
Humane Handling Quarterly Reports
A new FSIS quarterly report summarizing—by national, establishment size and district totals—humane
handling-related activities in livestock slaughter establishments.

Microbiology
Results of baseline data studies,
E. coli
O157:H7 testing, ready-to-eat
product sampling, and
Salmonella verification testing are reported here. FSIS's
Office of Public Health Science (OPHS) uses
the latest scientifically-based microbiological approaches to detect, understand, and prevent foodborne
hazards.
Chemistry
FSIS provides information on the
National Residue Program,
residue policy issuances,
Residue Repeat Violator Lists, and studies to determine presence of contaminants such as dioxin.
FSIS Data Analysis and Reporting
To ensure that FSIS maintains a science-based and data-driven approach to food safety,
the Agency conducts a robust analysis of available data. These analyses range from evaluations of FSIS
policy to strategic planning efforts.
Pathology Projects
Special projects completed by FSIS' pathology laboratories, such as beef
AMR testing data.
Animal Disposition Reporting System
The Animal Disposition Reporting System (ADRS) contains slaughter totals and disposition summaries for federally inspected livestock
and poultry slaughter establishments.
FoodNet
FoodNet is a collaborative project among FSIS, CDC, and
FDA to identify, control, and prevent foodborne disease hazards.
FoodNet uses sentinel sites in various states to provide more stable and accurate national estimates
of the burden and sources of specific foodborne diseases. See Also:
