What is more important nature or nurture?      Barry H. Thompson, M.D., M.S.: As Medical Director at AMCG, I am responsible for activities such as professional practices, clinical guidelines, and ethical aspects of clinical genetics. Both nature (genetics/genomics) and environment interact, in complex ways. Therefore, it's not possible to say which is "more important". In some human conditions, the impact of genetics is recognized as paramount; in others, environmental influences strongly impact genetic expression. Yukon High School in OK (12th grade student)
