Thumbnail preview ANNOTATION: “Trust is an important social construct; yet, criminal justice organizations have left the area of an employee’s trust in supervisors and management largely unexplored. The authors investigated the effects of supervision trust and management trust on the job stress, job satisfaction, and organizational commitment of employees at a midwestern private correctional facility” (p. 37). Trust in supervisors and management are related greatly to lower job stress and higher job satisfaction and organizational commitment. Supervision trust has much lower impact on these than management trust.
