Celebrating Rosh Hashanah

This evening, at sundown, our Jewish friends begin the celebration of Rosh Hashanah; the Jewish New Year. This High Holy Day is a time for humility and reflection. It is a day that serves as a reminder of the need to strive to be a better person and is an opportunity to focus on what unites us, rather than what divides us. Abroad, the Jewish people and the nation of Israel, have been one of the United States’ most loyal allies. It is essential that the United States always stand with a free and strong Israel. No one should ever doubt the strength of our alliance and friendship.
