The Office of Electricity Delivery and Energy Reliability's FY 2013 budget request continues the commitment to modernizing the nation's electric grid to meet America's energy needs by improving the reliability, security, resiliency, and efficiency of the electricity infrastructure, developing the computational capabilities to improve system planning and operations, and emphasizing the physical and cybersecurity of both new technologies and existing energy systems.
