FABS Industry Partnership Day

Your attendance is requested at the upcoming GSA Industry Partnership Day 2012, presented for the benefit of those under and utilizing GSA's Financial And Business Solutions (FABS) schedule. This year’s event will present new ways the Financial Services Industry and Government are working together to help Federal entities meet their mission to accomplish more effective results in financial transparency and accountability.

Much information will be covered regarding opportunities created by the expected impact of recent (and pending) legislation for the financial services community.

This event will bring Government and private sector organizations together in discussions on the spectrum of financial services considerations. The focus of Government participants will be on legislation, regulations and mandated agency transparency requirements. The private sector focus will be on current industry trends.

Industry Partnership Day activities are expected to include presentations from the following:

• The Office of Management and Budget (Office of Contracting and Procurement)
• The Office of the Federal Financial Management
• The Congressional Financial Services Committee
• The Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation
• Department of Treasury
• Department of Commerce
• Data and Information Security Technologies

In addition to the presentations, there will be a networking event providing an opportunity for small and large businesses to meet and work together in teaming and subcontracting opportunities.
