Executive Orders


The sponsor of each non-DOI site below is identified, but no endorsement of outside organizations or opinions is implied. DOI assumes no responsibility for the content of non-DOI site.

The White House publishes Executive Orders, radio addresses, press releases, and other documents, and provides a search capability for each. AEP related documents include:

  1. Executive Order 11246 requires organizations accepting federal funds to take affirmative action to increase employment opportunities for women and minorities. Enforced by DOL
  2. Executive Order 11141 declares it to be against Federal policy for contractors and subcontractors in performance of Federal government contracts, to discriminate against employees or job applicants on account of age.
