Memoranda of Understanding (MOU)

Regent University is proud to partner with the following military colleges and universities to provide their graduates with advanced standing in selected master's degree programs and transfer credit in selected bachelor's degree programs.

To accept this offer of advanced standing or transfer credit, please follow these simple steps.

Step one:
If you have not already done so, please submit a request for more information or an application for admission.

Step two:
Fill out the Advanced Standing Credit Form.

Army Logistics University (ALU)
Signed on Monday, Apr. 25, the partnership provides advanced standing of up to twelve credit hours for graduates of ALU's courses who enroll in Regent's Master's in Organizational Leadership program. This program is housed in Regent's School of Business & Leadership (SBL).

Defense Acquisition University (DAU)
Signed on Tuesday, March 22, 2011, the partnership provides advanced standing for graduates of the DAU program manager's course who enroll in Regent's organizational leadership or government (public administration) master's programs. Various other DAU courses will also transfer for credit toward Regent undergraduate and graduate courses.

Defense Information School (DINFOS)
Regent and Defense Information School (DINFOS) at Fort Meade, Md., have partnered to transfer DINFOS coursework from its public affairs and communications graduates into our undergraduate and graduate School of Communication & the Arts.

Joint Forces Staff College (JFSC)
Regent has a Memorandum of Agreement to articulate Joint Forces Staff College (JFSC) student credit for completion of Joint and Combined Warfighting School (JCWS) into our School of Business & Leadership, Robertson School of Government and School of Education.

Service Members Opportunity College (SOC)

      

      

ODU logoArmy ROTC
Regent University is proud to join forces with the Army ROTC at Old Dominion University (ODU) in Norfolk. With this joint agreement, students can take courses toward a Regent University degree while fulfilling their Army ROTC commitment with Old Dominion University. Students desiring to attend Regent on an Army scholarship should first apply to Regent for admission, then to Army ROTC at ODU for the undergraduate or graduate scholarship.

Yellow Ribbon Program
Regent is honored and privileged to support the Virginia Army and Air National Guard Yellow Ribbon Program, whose mission is to prepare National Guard and Reserve members and their families for the deployment, sustain their families during the deployment, and reintegrate the Service members with their families, communities and employers upon re-deployment or release from active duty.

Crisis Chaplains
Crisis Chaplains was founded by Chuck Paris, an Army military police veteran and Regent University alumnus (Leadership/Terrorism & Homeland Defense), to provide a Christ-focused response to crime, violence or terrorism. Crisis Chaplains is a nonprofit based in the Washington, D.C., region that builds faith networks with churches, businesses and groups for unified mission support and to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ. Crisis Chaplains intends to train military veterans to serve communities as Crisis Chaplains.

 

Hampton Roads Chamber of Commerce
Regent is proud to sponsor the Military Appreciation Events conducted by the Hampton Roads Chamber of Commerce.


 

Honor & Remember
Honor & Remember, Inc was created by George Lutz Sr. after his son Tony was killed in action in Iraq. The mission of the organization is to establish a tangible national symbol of gratitude, as a visible public reminder to all Americans, that perpetually recognizes all military lives lost in defense of our national freedoms. Regent University is honored to develop a partnership with this great organization. George Lutz Sr. is a Regent university alumnus.

Regent is proud to be a community affiliate of this civilian organization dedicated to informing the American people and their government that the United States of America is a maritime nation and that its national defense and economic well being are dependent upon strong services.

Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve
Regent joins other employers in pledging that:

  1. Employment will not be denied because of service in the Guard or Reserve;
  2. Employee job and career opportunities will not be limited or reduced because of service in the Guard or Reserve;
  3. Employees will be granted leaves of absence for military service in the Guard or Reserve, consistent with existing laws, without sacrifice of vacation, and
  4. This agree and its resulting policies are made known throughout our organization.

Regent is proud and honored to support the Military Ministry of McLean Bible Church, which has evolved in response to a recognized need for support and outreach toward military personnel and their families residing in Washington, D.C. The mission is to make an impact on the military and their families in the greater Washington, D.C., area with the life-changing message of Jesus Christ.

A network of evangelical churches, chaplains and para-church ministries fulfilling the Great Commission of Jesus Christ by reaching, equipping and ministering to military members and families worldwide.
