DAU’s Global Learning and Technology Center (GLTC) recently hosted representatives from the Royal Saudi Naval Forces (RSNF), the King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals (KFUPM) and the US Navy International Program Office, in a discussion of learning-based technology implementation.
“The visitors were here to benchmark how DAU has implemented our learning management system (Atlas) to support both e-learning delivery and the overall student experience DAU offers through our learning infrastructure,” said Dr. Judith Bayliss, of GLTC.
After an introductory address by Mr. Craig Mallory, of the DAU International Department, Dr. Bayliss provided attendees with information on GLTC and a report on DAU’s experience with the AtlasPro learning management system and Ms. Rebecca Clark, of GLTC, explained the DAU technology roadmap. “They received an overview of our mobile learning strategy and how we hope to expand access to DAU resources from Smartphones and other devices,” Dr. Bayliss explained.
