I-24/7 Global Police Communications System
One of INTERPOL's core functions is to facilitate the exchange of criminal investigative information and data securely and rapidly. The organization's I-24/7 global police communications system connects law enforcement officials in all 190 member countries and provides them with the means to share crucial information on criminals and criminal activities in real time.

FIND/MIND:
To assist countries in their law enforcement collaboration efforts, INTERPOL has developed two integrated solutions using either fixed or mobile integrated network databases, known as FIND and MIND. Both can integrate into the existing computer-assisted verification systems within individual countries. In addition, MIND can be used in a country without an existing verification system.

The International Justice & Public Safety Network (Nlets) Integration:
Nlets is a computer-based message switching system that connects federal, state, local law and tribal law enforcement agencies for the purpose of information exchange. Nlets is the largest outreach tool available to state and local law enforcement authorities. Nlets was recently combined with the international law enforcement database at INTERPOL to provide law enforcement agents with more complete investigative information.

FBI Law Enforcement Online:
The FBI's LEO system provides a secure backbone network that law enforcement members can use to communicate securely with INTERPOL Washington and transmit Sensitive But Unclassified information. In the future, designated law enforcement agencies will have access to INTERPOL databases via LEO.

Integrated Automated Fingerprint Identification System (IAFIS)
The Integrated Automated Fingerprint Identification System (IAFIS) is a national repository of fingerprints and criminal histories maintained by the FBI and its Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) Division. INTERPOL Washington collaborated with the FBI and INTERPOL Headquarters in Lyon, France, to develop a gateway to query and store international and domestic fingerprints within their respective systems. INTERPOL Washington's INTERPOL Operations and Command Center has the capability to convert and run queries against repositories maintained by INTERPOL and INTERPOL Washington in real time.

Regional Information Sharing Systems (RISSNET):
RISSNET is a secure intranet that connects 5,700 law enforcement agencies in all 50 U.S. states, as well as agencies in the District of Columbia, Guam, the U.S. Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico, Ontario and Quebec, Canada, and Australia. RISSNET provides a secure communications backbone between INTERPOL Washington and designated U.S. INTERPOL liaison offices in states and most major cities, and affords limited access to INTERPOL databases.
