PBS Industry Relations Division
Overview
PBS Industry Relations Division (IRD) increases awareness of contract opportunities with GSA’s Public Buildings Service (PBS), while maximizing access to the right information and the right points-of-contact, at the right time. We are committed to supporting industry in all of their efforts to do business with PBS.
Supported Programs
Our Industry Relations Managers function as subject matter experts in their respective disciplines, and are assigned to be “knowledge centers” by industry or key program area.
Outreach
We understand that in order for us to effectively assist industry, we need to be proactively engaged where they are accustomed to generating their business - through professional associations & organizations, at industry events such as conferences and tradeshows, and on the web.
Through Professional Associations & Organizations:
IRD develops relationships with professional associations on behalf of PBS to communicate with industry partners, as well as to offer assistance and knowledge to those seeking to do business with us. Activities may include speaking or presenting at events, serving as (non-voting) Government advisors, and providing information for professional associations & organizations publications.
If your professional association or organization is interested in working with PBS, please send an email detailing how you’d like to work with us to industryrelations@gsa.gov.
At Industry Events:
Industry Relations Managers support PBS by participating in industry events through the year, and providing support to internal programs for small business, construction, leasing, buildings management, energy/sustainability, and other areas. Activities may include speaking, conducting workshops or seminars, staffing tradeshow booths, and matchmaking.
To request the attendance of a PBS representative at an event not listed here, please send an email detailing the request to industryrelations@gsa.gov.
