Some members of the Baker Fire Department were in the business of building dreams today. The group volunteered their time to construct a playhouse for Arlisha Davis of Baker. The twelve year old is recovering from serious brain tumor surgery.

The Baker firefighters were contacted by the Make a Wish Foundation and asked if they would build this little girl's dream home. Arlisha wanted a playhouse for her and her cat sweet pea.

"I'll have a TV in my house and a kitchen and I'm going to have my cat his name is sweet pea. He's going to running around and we're going to play," said Arlisha.

"Our firemen overwhelmingly came together to come out here and make this wish come true,” said Danny Edwards, Baker Fire Chief. “We even had some firemen that dedicated their time and their days off to come here. So we are very proud to be able to help little Arlisha and make her wish come true."

Ten Baker firefighters volunteered their time to put the playhouse together. Don't worry, they were ready for any fire emergencies during that time, the fire trucks were parked right out front of the Davis' house.
