Must Know
NAS/JRB Family Housing is privitized, the Public Private Venture Partner is Patrician Military Housing. Their office is located at 300 Russel Avenue, the Navy Family Housing Office is directly across from the PPV Partner, located in the Community Center. Navy Family Housing office hours are 0700-1630 Monday through Friday (except Federal Holidays). The PPV Partner office hours are 0730-1700 Monday through Friday, 1000-1600 Saturday and 1300-1700 Sunday.
All personnel seeking assignment to base housing are required to come to the Navy Family Housing Office. The Navy Family Housing personnel will determine your qualification and entitlement and then refer you to Patrician Military Housing for assignment.
To apply for housing all personnel are required to complete an Application for Housing (DD Form 1746), submit a copy of orders assigning them to the area & Record of Emergency Data (Page2/dependent record). Dependents must reside with the member at least nine (9) consecutive months out of the year to be included included in bedroom composition. At the time of assignment residents must sign a lease and begin to pay rent based on the Basic Allowance for Housing (BAH) at the with dependent rate, this payment will be made to the property manager (Patrician Military Housing). Dual military members that are married and receive BAH will be required to pay the BAH at the with dependent rate of the highest pay grade.
Active Duty, Reservists, Single Sailors, Geographical Bachelors, DoD Employees & Retired military are eligible to reside on board the activity.
