Tigrigna is spoken in Tigrai, one of 11 regions in Ethiopia and is a national language of Eritrea, which has a population of 5.6 million. Tigrigna is believed to be the oldest Ethiopian language.

The Tigrigna service broadcasts a 30-minute program on Monday through Friday from 1900 to 1930 UTC/GMT.
