12/21/2011 - U.S. Air Force Academy, Colo. -- Hours of the operation for the Academy's Visitor Center (including gift shop) and the Cadet Chapel are as follows:
Visitor Center/gift shop:
Dec. 23 and Dec. 30: 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Dec. 24, 25, 31, and Jan. 1: Closed
Cadet Chapel:
Dec 25, 26, and Jan. 1 and Jan 2: Closed
Normal hours of operation on all other days: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The Academy will remain open to visitors daily from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tourists may enter the base through the North Gate. All drivers will be asked to show a valid and current drivers license and all vehicles are subject to search.
