Duty title & unit of assignment:
I am a Logistics Specialist 2nd class (LS2). I serve as a Disposal Specialist in my Unit with the DLA. My unit is DRT-1 FT. Lewis.
What was the most rewarding/memorable part of this AT tour?
“The most rewarding part of my AT is that I was able to make a significant impact in the work load at DRMO Barbers Point. It is a good feeling to know that I am making a real difference when I go on AT. I also had the opportunity to learn new facets of the operations at DRMO; this means a lot to me”.
What do you enjoy most about your job for DLA?
“What I enjoy most is that by providing a disposal and re-utilization service, we save money and keep critical materials away from people who should not have them, which saves American lives. I feel like the work we do saves money and lives.”
Below is a letter praising Rowell for his work during this training.
