Objectives
This 40-hour program will equip parole board executives with the knowledge and skills they need to operate a paroling authority using evidence-based practices. The course emphasizes the critical role of collaboration and partnerships with stakeholders to increase offender success and public safety.
The course includes 2 live online Webex sessions, 3 days of face-to-face training, and 1 independent work assignment in the following sequence. Participants must available to participate in all the training sessions.
Audience
The training is for newly hired parole board executives and current executives with less than 5 years of service, or those executives who have never been exposed to parole training, and who are responsible for leading the paroling authority.
