9/13/2012 - JOINT BASE SAN ANTONIO-RANDOLPH, Texas -- People traveling to and around Joint Base San Antonio-Randolph should expect delays at the gates the morning of Sept. 17 as the base conducts a readiness exercise.
Military bases conduct exercises to ensure proficiency of base personnel and emergency response teams' ability to respond to any threat to the installation. Members of the base are asked to follow instructions from leadership and security forces during the exercise.
Base officials are asking people who have business on JBSA-Randolph to plan accordingly and exercise patience.
