DUNS Numbers:  Effective 10/1/2003, all assistance applications must include the applicant's DUNS Number.  This is a 9 digit number assigned by Dun and Bradstreet (D&B) used by the Federal Government to uniquely identify contractors and assistance recipients.  You can obtain a DUNS number by calling D&B at 866-705-5711 or 610-882-7000 or by accessing their web site.  There is no charge for obtaining a DUNS Number only.

CCR:  Before you can apply for a grant through Grants.gov, your organization must also register with the Central Contractor Registry (CCR).
