The IHS Division of Diabetes developed the fact sheets below to help inform Tribal Leaders, Tribal community members and others about diabetes, the Special Diabetes Program for Indians (SDPI) and IHS Division of Diabetes activities. These brief documents, updated in 2012, are intended to provide an overview of each issue.
These documents can be used by American Indian and Alaska Native diabetes programs to help inform local leaders and community members about diabetes-related issues.
