ANNOTATION: The poli-victimization, the simultaneous experience of several different types of victimization in separate incidents, of juvenile girls is examined. Results are presented for: participants; girls’ experiences of victimization and adversity; girls’ crime and delinquency; and association of victimization and adversity to crime and delinquency. “Of the five major categories of victimization [caregiver, gang, dating, sexual, and witnessing], witnessing violence demonstrated the most consistent associations with other types of violence and gang attacks showed the least consistent associations” (p. iv).
