MML Program Area: Environment and Climate

The Material Measurement Laboratory's work in the areas of environment and climate provides the underpinning measurement science and models needed to strengthen, verify and ensure assessments of soil, atmosphere, marine and aquatic environments, and environmental threats, and to support environmental remediation strategies in ways that enable our nation to protect its environmental resources and develop science-based environmental policy.
