Summer Jobs Should be Good Jobs
If you are a young worker and new to the workforce, you should know there are several agencies within the Department of Labor that enforce laws designed to help you have a positive work experience. OSHA requires that your employer provide you with a safe work environment, while the regulations enforced by the Wage and Hour Division ensure you receive the proper wages for the work you perform and that your job does not interfere with your education nor jeopardize your health and well-being.
