Asia and Pacific
The Office of Global Affairs works with U.S. Government agencies and with colleagues in Asian countries such as China and India to improve health at the program level and at the policy-making level. Collaboration also includes research grants and information sharing.

China
The U.S. government has many agreements with the Chinese government for collaboration on global health. HHS operating divisions such as CDC, FDA, and NIH are also very active in fulfilling their missions through working with the Chinese in areas such as food safety and controlling diseases.
India
The benefits from HHS collaborations with India are visible today in many parts of the country, in the form of thousands of Indian scientists trained in the United States, dozens of collaborative programs, and numerous personal and institutional relationships.
