Moody Air Force Base

Moody Air Force Base, Home of the 23rd Wing, is located just outside of Valdosta, Georgia. The 23rd Wing organizes, trains and employs combat-ready A-10, HC-130, HH-60, pararescuemen, force protection assets and personnel consisting of approximately 6,100 military and civilian personnel including geographically separated units in Nevada, Arizona and North Carolina. The wing executes worldwide close air support, force portection, and combat search and rescue operations in support of humanitarian interest, United States national security and the global war on terrorism. Population is 26,283.

Facility/Services Information

The Exchange is complete with a large facility, Exchange Restaurants, barber shop, beauty shop, flower shop, dry cleaners, Military Clothing Store and vitamin shop located in bldg. 904. The home furnishing store is located in Bldg 843, right next to the Exchange complex. The Express/Class Six/Car Care Center is located in Bldg 554, just in front of the Base Exchange. The new Church's Chicken is also located in the same building. Base Theater is located in bldg. 5116.

For Your Information

You may use the Military Star Card or other major credit cards at all our retail stores and most concessions. You may apply for a Military Star Card at the Moody AFB Main Exchange.

Your Exchange operates on funds generated through sales of merchandise and services not tax dollars. Profits go directly back to Moody AFB Morale, Welfare and Recreation fund.
