Type of Position: Enlisted in the Naval Special Warfare community (high school diploma or equivalent required)

About this Job: Navy SWCCs operate some of the world’s most high-speed, high-performance, heavily armed small craft in existence – defending freedom via the riverine and littoral environment. In this role:

• Operate independently among small units, or integrate with other U.S. Special Operations forces or within U.S. Navy carrier and expeditionary strike groups, to accomplish operational tasks
• Insert and extract SEALs and other Special Operations personnel from a variety of Naval Surface Warfare vessels, ready at a moment’s notice to provide stealth cover and unleash awesome firepower
• Collect important data about enemy military installations and shipping traffic in coastal areas
• Protect global waters from enemy combatants, performing direct action raids against enemy shipping and waterborne traffic
• Provide rapid mobility in shallow water areas where larger ships cannot operate
• Provide internal defense in foreign regions and offer dedicated support to your Special Operations counterparts
• Operate and maintain ordnance systems, communications, electronics, small boats, and other equipment associated with SWCC and other special operations missions
• Be the go-to resource, applying expert knowledge of everything from maritime navigation to covert communications to advanced weaponry

Qualifications and Requirements: Candidates must satisfy specific criteria to be eligible for employment consideration.

• U.S. citizenship: Required
• Education: High school diploma or GED or equivalent
• Gender: Male (required by law)
• Age: 30 or younger
• Medical exam: Required
• Eyesight: 20/40 best eye; 20/70 worst eye; correctable to 20/25 with no color blindness
• Physical screening test: Required
• Minimum Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB) score: AR+VE=103, MC=51
• Service commitment: Minimum of six years of Active Duty
