Databases

• Census 2010. Presents the results of the U.S. 2010 Census of every resident in the United States. American Indian and Alaska Native and Native Hawaiian and Other Pacific Islander data and links are also provided.
• Child Trends Data Bank. Provides national level research and trend data on over 100 indicators of child/youth well-being incl. absenteeism, academic proficiency, dropout, and grade retention. Click here for a list of indicators included.
• Civil Rights Data Collection. Collects data on key education and civil rights issues in U.S. public schools including enrollment, access to educational programs/services, and academic proficiency results, separated out by race, ethnicity, sex, and disability.  
• College Results Online. Interactive data tool provides information about college graduation rates for nearly every four-year college or university in the United States. The tool lets users examine and compare college graduation rates over time, including the graduation rates of diverse groups of students.
• Common Core of Data. The CCD is maintained by the U.S. Department of Education's National Center for Education Statistics. It annually collects fiscal and non-fiscal data about all U.S. public schools, districts, and state education agencies, including school and district names and contact information; demographic and descriptive data about students and staff; and fiscal data, including revenues and expenditures.
• Ed Data Express. Easy-to-use interactive data tool that allows users to create tables, graphs, maps, trend lines, and conditional analyses of state and federal education statistics including student achievement, demographics, accountability, and performance.
• Kids Count Data Center. Access hundreds of measures of child well-being by state or compare them across states.
• National Assessment of Educational Progress. NAEP is the largest nationally representative assessment of what U.S 4th, 8th, and 12th grade students know and can do in mathematics, reading, science, writing, arts, civics, economics, geography, and U.S. history. Data include subject matter achievement, instructional experiences, and school environment and can be disaggregated by demographics such as race/ethnicity and gender.
• National Indian Education Study. Two-part study about AI/AN education presents assessment results for grades 4 and 8 reading and mathematics and survey results from Native students, teachers, and school administrators about school climate and cultural experiences. Restricted use data files containing data from the 2005, 2007, and 2009 studies are available for analysis by licensed researchers.
• School Attendance Boundary Information System (SABINS). Aggregate census data and GIS-compatible boundary files for selected US school attendance areas including Native American (AI/AN/NH) areas.
• U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics. Provides data about inflation, prices, spending, time use, employment, unemployment, pay, benefits, productivity, workplace injuries, and careers.
• U.S. Education Dashboard. Easy-to-use interactive charts and tables of educational indicators at the state and national level.

• Consolidated State Performance Reports. State reports for school years 2005-06 to present. 2003-04 to 2004-05 reports also available.
• Digest of Education Statistics. Compilation of education statistics data from prekindergarten through graduate school including the number of schools, colleges, teachers, enrollments and graduates; educational attainment; finances and federal funds for education and libraries; and population trends, attitudes about education, education characteristics of the labor force, government finances and economic trends.
• EdFacts. Reports of K-12 educational performance including school and district demographics, enrollment by race/ethnicity, schools making adequate yearly progress, state annual measureable objectives targets, state and NAEP assessment performance, high school graduation and dropout, Advanced Placement participation, college enrollment, and economic per-pupil data.
• High School State Report Cards. Statistical snapshots for each state and the nation containing economic information, high school graduation and college completion rates by race, the number of "dropout factory" schools in the state, and academic achievement. Maintained by the Alliance for Excellent Education.
• National Center for Education Statistics. Annual reports of U.S. education statistics including the condition of education, federal support, high school dropout and completion, educational indicators, school crime and safety, and future projections.
• National Indian Education Study. Two-part study about AI/AN education presents assessment results for grades 4 and 8 reading and mathematics and survey results from Native students, teachers, and school administrators about school climate and cultural experiences. 
• Native American Statistics Project. Harvard University Native American Program statistical reports on American Indian education, populations, families, births, deaths, housing, employment, income, economics, language, and health.
• Status and Trends in the Education of American Indians and Alaska Natives. 2008 report of AI/AN education conditions and trends in demographics, enrollment, persistence, effort, academics, achievement, educational and social environments, postsecondary education enrollment and graduation, and social and economic outcomes. The 2005 report is also available.  
• U.S. Education Dashboard. U.S. Department of Education report of progress for the nation and each state toward the President's 2020 college attainment goal of having the world's highest proportion of college graduates.
