The Chicago VA Regional Office is located at 2122 W. Taylor St., Chicago, Illinois, 60612.  Our office building is adjacent to the Jesse Brown VA Medical Center, located at 820 S. Damen Avenue.  Parking is availabile in the parking facility located between the regional office and the hospital but parking validation is not available for visitors to the regional office.  Validation is only available to Veterans visiting Jeese Brown VA Medical Center for a medical appointment.  Both facilities are easily accessible using public transportation. 

The Chicago Regional Office administers a variety of services and benefits including Compensation and Pension and Vocational Rehabilitation and Emplyoment.  Other services provided include specially adapted housing grants, benefits counseling, fiduciary/guardianship services, and outreach services for the homeless, elderly, minority Veterans and women Veterans.  Our Veterans Service Center administers the Compensation and Pension Program for Veterans and their dependents residing in the 102 counties of the State of Illinois.  We also determine eligibility for certain benefits and services provided by Insurance, Vocational Rehabilitation, Loan Guaranty, the Veterans Health Administration and the National Cemetery Administration.  The Chicago Regional Office also provides case management to every Homeless Veteran claim we receive.  Our Vocational Rehabilitation and Employment Program helps Veterans with service-connected disabilities, offering services and assistance to help them prepare for, find, and keep suitable employment.  For Veterans with serious service-connected disabilities, Vocational Rehabilitation and Employment also offers a program of services to improve their ability to live as independently as possible.
