Student Temporary Assistant Resource Services (STARS) Program

The purpose of the Student Temporary Assistant Resource Services (STARS) Program is to provide the Commission with temporary administrative support and to provide networking for students throughout the Commission. The STARS Program offers student employees structure, motivation, leadership skills, and diverse work projects, which expose students to various levels of the business of the Federal government. Students in the STARS program gain first-hand experiences in the Federal government by providing support to the professional staff. Their job functions include routine office automation tasks, data entry, research projects, and production work. Throughout the school year, STARS work a minimum of 16 hours and a maximum of 40 hours per week during normal business hours.
