Spot The Block: For Parents

FOR PARENTS

Spot the Block encourages parents to help their kids establish good eating habits by using the Nutrition Facts Label when making food choices.  Ensuring that kids understand and use the label is an important step in helping them fight childhood obesity today and preventing health problems later in life.

Reaching tweens in their communities is an important aspect of the Spot The Block campaign. Grassroots educators and local partners can find tools here that help engage kids in their own neighborhoods, bringing nutrition information to them where they live, gather, and play.
