State of Rhode Island, in Cooperation with City of Providence, Takes Lead of ProvPort TIGER II Project

Governor Lincoln D. Chafee today announced that the State of Rhode Island has partnered with the City of Providence to formally assume control of the $10.5-million Transportation Investments Generating Economic Recovery (TIGER II) grant originally awarded to the City of Providence to purchase two mobile, barge-based cranes.
