Support Programs

Photo of teenage girlLosing a loved one can be one of the most difficult things anyone can go through. Survivor Outreach Services (SOS) Support Coordinators can connect you with people who can help you maintain the strength to move forward. Support Coordinators can help you with referrals to organizations that provide the following types of support:

For your convenience, CMAOC has compiled a list of gifting organizations that seek to provide material gifts and support to Survivors of current conflicts. Families who have lost a Soldier in Operation Iraqi Freedom, Operation Enduring Freedom, and Operation New Dawn are eligible to receive gifts and services provided by these organizations.

If you or an organization would like to provide a gift or service to a fallen Soldier's Family, you must complete a questionnaire for legal review. If the Command Judge Advocate approves the request, the organization will be provided with only the information of those Families who have authorized the Army to release their personal contact information. SOS will maintain the privacy of the Next of Kin. The Gifting Program is NOT authorizing the Army to release personal information to the media.
