Congresswoman Shelley Moore Capito, R-W.Va., today announced that the City of Romney will receive rural development funds to construct a new Public Works Building. Relocation of the facility is needed to allow for improvements and upgrades to the Wastewater Plant.

“This loan is an example of how federal, state and county governments can work together to improve local communities.  Partnerships like this one are essential in maintaining and enhancing rural areas across America.  This loan will help finance needed infrastructure improvements in Hampshire County, and I am pleased that Romney has been awarded this USDA loan,” stated Capito.
