Sex Offenders
Sex offending has received increased public attention during the past 15 years, mainly because of well-publicized sex crimes against young children, some of which ended in the children's deaths. National attention has focused on the perceived risk that convicted offenders pose to communities when released and how community safety may be enhanced.
