Congressional correspondence

At the CFPB, we are committed to transparency. We believe the American people should have access to as much information as possible about the activities of the consumer bureau, including our correspondence with your elected representatives to Congress. From time to time, we will post our congressional correspondence on this page, allowing you to see one of the ways we are keeping Congress informed about our activities.

Correspondence on this page is presented as a PDF document. As much as possible, responses provided by CFPB officials are presented as “machine-readable” PDFs – that is, documents that allow you to search, copy, and paste the text they contain.
