President Obama to Honor Recipients of the 2008 National Medal of Science & National Medal of Technology and Innovation

WASHINGTON--President Barack Obama will honor the 2008 recipients of the National Medal of Science and the National Medal of Technology and Innovation in an awards ceremony at the White House on Wednesday, October 7, 2009. The ceremony will be carried live by satellite feed and webcast on the White House website at: http://www.whitehouse.gov/live.

President Obama will present the National Medal of Science and the National Medal of Technology and Innovation to the 2008 laureates.

  • When: Wednesday, October 7, 2009 at 1:30 p.m. EST (Pre-set 12:30 - Final Gather 1pm - North Doors of the Palm Room)
  • Where: The White House, East Room, Washington, D.C.
